Rosewood Miramar Beach is looking for **Event & Banquet Servers** to join our Miramar Beach **Event & Banquets Team!**

**Overview**

The Event & Banquet Server will be responsible for providing refined, luxurious service and guest satisfaction according to the standards of the property. Take food and beverage orders, retrieve and serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently. Assist in the maintenance of the restaurant, ballroom & event areas, and equipment; maintain luxury service standards at all times.

**Essential Responsibilities**

* Utilizes proper food handling and food service techniques.

* Takes food and beverage orders in a friendly and timely manner and ensures accurate entry and delivery of the order.

* Meets the Company service standards at all times.

* Maintains knowledge of and general description of all food items and explains to guests.

* Ensures tables are well maintained at all times.

* Practices all safety and loss prevention procedures.

* Sets up and cleans the ballroom & event areas while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards.

* Exceeds standards of appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation, and hygiene.

* Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements **Qualifications**

* At least two years previous experience working as an Event & Banquets server in a fine dining restaurant or in a luxury environment.

* Excellent written, verbal, and group presentation communication skills.

* Ability to effectively interact with individuals and small groups of people.

* Basic knowledge of wine and liquor including wine service techniques.

* At least 21 years of age to serve alcohol.

* Must have a flexible schedule that requires days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

**Education**

High school diploma.

**Licenses and Certificates**

Must be a minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcohol. TIPS preferred and Food Handling Certification required.
