Position: Speech Language PathologistSalary Range: $45 to $58 per hourWork Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday (no weekend rotation)Location: Very small SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility)Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at a very small SNF. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work with patients to diagnose and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders. You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, as well as monitoring and documenting progress.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilitiesDevelop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goalsProvide therapy sessions to patients using evidence-based techniques and strategiesMonitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as neededCollaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated care for patientsEducate patients and their families on techniques to improve communication and swallowing skillsKeep accurate and up-to-date patient records and reportsStay current with advancements and best practices in the field of speech language pathologyQualificationsMaster's degree in Speech Language PathologyState licensure as a Speech Language PathologistCertificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a SNF or geriatric populationStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent time management and organizational skillsProficiency with electronic medical records and documentationCompassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy#J-18808-Ljbffr
