Sharrah Dunlap Sawyer, Inc. (SDS) is seeking a Drafting Technician to join our in-office team. This is a full-time position working under the direct supervision of senior staff and registered professionals to produce exhibits, plans, and maps for residential subdivisions, commercial and industrial developments, and infrstructure projects.  Duties may also include site visits, inspections, and/or land survey field work.

REQUIREMENTS

• Any combination of training and experience that provides the distinguishing characteristics.
• A valid California driver`s license with an insurable driving record.

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office programs.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred.
• Site development drafting experience.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral.
• Strong math and logic skills with the ability to conceptualize in three dimensions.
• Aptitude for critical thinking and problem solving.
• Self-motivated, strong work ethic, adaptable, creative, willing to learn new skills.
• Team-oriented approach with clients, colleagues, and coworkers.

COMPENSATION ANDBENEFITS

• Anticipated salary range: $20-$40 per hour based on qualifications.
