Manresa Bread is seeking additional team members for our pastry team in both the pastry production and baking positions. Our pastry team focuses on laminated pastries including croissants, kouign amann, babka, brioche and puff pastry. Our menu changes seasonally and utilizes house-milled flours and locally sourced produce. We are a small team and take a lot of pride in our product quality, production efficiencies, and team communication and collaboration. We are currently looking to fill the afternoon and overnight shifts which start at 2pm and 10pm respectively. ****Interested indivduals must be able to work evenings or overnight shifts, weekends and have open availability.** Culinary degree highly preferred but not required. This position will also be responsible for measuring and combing ingredients using hands and mixers, cleaning and sanitizing work station, work with team members and managers to make baked goods within timelines.**

Manresa Bread is a neighborhood bakery led by Partner and Head Baker Avery Ruzicka, a 2019 and 2020 James Beard Finalist. Conceived in the kitchen of Chef David Kinchs three-Michelin-star Manresa restaurant, Manresa Bread mills 90% of theprimarily localgrains in house on 40 New American Stone Mill; sources high-quality artisanal and local ingredients; employs time-honored baking techniques; and uses natural fermentation processes to create a rotating selection of sourdough loaves and sweet and savory pastries.
