Research Scientist, HP Labs
The Microfluidics and System Technology Lab at HP Laboratories in Palo Alto, California is seeking an outstanding Cell Biologist to join its elite R&D team working on breakthrough technologies, including microfluidics, life science, and molecular diagnostics.
The successful candidate will work with a elite team of researchers with diverse expertise, including physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, material science, chemistry, MEMS, and machine learning. This collaborative environment encourages innovation and creativity, facilitating significant advancements in HP's business and products through applied industrial research. The primary responsibilities will include developing and characterizing novel workflows that build on HP's microfluidics technology, targeting new and emerging markets. By leading cell-based workflow development initiatives, the candidate will formulate strategies that benchmark against contemporary techniques and demonstrate the competitive advantages.
Qualifications
The base pay range for this role is $104,800 to $158,250 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
