WATER AND SEWAGE PLANT SUPERVISOR (CORRECTIONAL FACILITY)

Description:

Newly hired State employees may be placed at the minimum of the salary range. Every 12 months, based on performance evaluation, employees may receive a 5% salary increase until they reach the maximum salary for the position.

The Water & Sewage Plant Supervisor (Correctional Facility) (W&SPS), who possesses a valid State of California Waste and/or Water Treatment Certification at the level of Grade II issued by the State Water Resource Control Board and/or California Department of Public Health, shall receive a 2% pay differential each month.

Limited term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.

Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position.

Working Conditions: This position is located in Stockton, CA.

Candidates who have been withheld may file an appeal with the State Personnel Board.

Candidates new to CDCR or the Division of Juvenile Justice are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
