About the Position:

Responsible for purchasing equipment parts and materials following regulations outlined in the Materiel Services Procedure Handbook. Determines proper cost coding and purchase mode (PAPO or Calcard). Implements legal purchases utilizing contracts, schedules, and agreements. Uses vendor price files to ensure quality and price. Prepares specifications, solicits bids, negotiates with vendors, and ensures timely delivery. Aims to meet goals for spending with Certified Small Business and Disabled Veteran Enterprises. Processes purchase requests through E-FIS.
