Title of Role: Head of Operations and Growth
Location: New York, NY (In-office 4–5 days/week; ~2 days/month client travel)
Company Stage of Funding: Seed to Series A trajectory
Office Type: On-site, Full-Time
Salary: $125,000 – $175,000 base + Equity + Performance-Based Bonus

We're working with a fast-growing technology company building modern tools for a traditional, industrial-focused sector. The team is small, ambitious, and scaling quickly with a clear path toward their next funding milestone.
This is a high-ownership role where you'll work directly with the founder and leadership team to help shape go-to-market, customer success, and operations during a critical growth stage.
What You Will Do
- Build and manage CRM and outbound lead generation systems; run outbound campaigns including calls and emails.
- Drive customer success and retention through onboarding, training materials, account check-ins, and adoption monitoring.
- Support market expansion research and validate product fit in adjacent verticals.
- Create sales and marketing collateral, including presentations, website drafts, and video content.
- Partner closely with the founder on strategic initiatives, fundraising prep, and operational execution.
- Travel to clients (~2 days/month) to strengthen relationships and support deployments.
Ideal Background
- 3+ years of professional experience in consulting, investment banking, startups, venture, sales, customer success, or entrepreneurial roles.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and execution-driven.
- Comfortable in a high-intensity environment (long hours expected, similar to consulting/IB pace).
- Proficiency in CRM use, outbound campaigns, and customer engagement.
- Strong communicator with experience producing sales materials and written content.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ambition to grow into senior leadership.
Preferred
- Background in consulting, IB, or high-caliber startup environments.
- Interest in or comfort working with clients in traditional, male-dominated industries.
- Charismatic and authentic in client-facing settings.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $125,000 – $175,000 base
- Equity: 1–1.5%
