Qualifications: High School graduate or its equivalency Ophthalmic Technician Certification preferred Current BLS from the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers Experience in medical front office procedures preferred Must have proven ability to maintain professional conduct and confidentiality in the care of patients Must possess basic computer skills Duties & Responsibilities: Job Summary The Ophthalmic Technician works with Ophthalmologist to provide patient care by performing many different eye related clinical functions. Ophthalmic Technicians assist Ophthalmologists by taking patient histories, perform various procedures and tests, and prepares patients for exam.
