Overview

Network Wireless Engineer at N Consulting Ltd

Scope of work includes on-site and data centre tasks related to wireless access point installation and basic network support.

Responsibilities

• Handle site/data centre visits with attention to safety and site requirements.
• Conduct physical and active wireless surveys and prepare reports.
• Provide local support for remote resolver groups or work on service requests as described in scope.

Qualifications

• Should have at least 3-4 years of experience in conducting physical and active wireless surveys, and in preparing reports.
• Must carry own laptop for survey tools.
• Proficient in English and the local language of the respective country.
• Should have necessary health and safety certifications applicable in respective countries.
• Should have safety gear based on requirements (at least safety shoes).
• Should carry a hotspot or mobile with data package and not depend on the client's internet to provide remote access.
• Should have experience in identifying and installing various types of passive cables and SFPs.
• Having L1 knowledge of network configuration and troubleshooting is an added advantage.
