Inpatient Imaging, Assistant Manager reports to the Manager, Medical Imaging and provides frontline leadership for Lead Technologists, Senior Technologists, and the broader technical team. Inpatient Imaging, Assistant Manager partners closely with Radiologists, Nursing leadership, PACS/IT, clerical staff, and service engineers to coordinate seamless imaging operations. Inpatient Imaging, Assistant Manager also collaborates with ancillary departments to optimize throughput, access, and patient experience.

Inpatient Imaging, Assistant Manager helps guide a 24/7 inpatient imaging service covering Diagnostic X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and other modalities that support critical care, perioperative, and emergency services. Inpatient Imaging, Assistant Manager steers staffing, scheduling, productivity, and budget stewardship; drives quality improvement; and ensures compliance with Joint Commission, ACR, Title 17 & 22, and departmental policies. Inpatient Imaging, Assistant Manager serves as a visible liaison for patients, families, physicians, and staff; maintains technical proficiency to support clinical coverage when needed; and completes timely performance evaluations to support career development.
