We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Billing Specialist client opportunity with our insurance litigation law firm client. The firm offers a collaborative, integrity-driven environment where attorneys are empowered to grow, lead, and deliver exceptional results for clients.

This position is Direct Hire and Hybrid role; 3 days per week in office with flexible hours.

The Billing Specialist is responsible for below specific duties.

Your specific duties will include:

• Prepare, review, and finalize monthly invoices in PracticePanther.
• Review attorney and staff time entries for accuracy and compliance.
• Apply client billing guidelines, rates, and formats.
• Submit invoices through e-billing platforms as required.
• Address invoice rejections, reductions, and billing inquiries.
• Monitor billing deadlines and support accounts receivable follow-up.
• Generate basic billing and productivity reports.

Required qualifications for the position include:

• 2+ years of billing experience within a law firm
• Experience with PracticePanther or similar legal billing software.
• Knowledge of insurance carrier billing guidelines and e-billing.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred qualifications for the position include:

• Experience with UTBMS codes and e-billing platforms.
• Small law firm experience.

Salary Range: $68,000 annually

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
