Minimum Requirements upon hire:

• Physical capability to respond and assist during emergencies
• Minimum 21 years of age at the time of assignment (USA only); exceptions may be made
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Customer-focused with good communication skills
• Maintain personal hygiene and professional appearance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Complete state certification and licensing as required
• Satisfactory completion of a drug test, background check, and CPR/AED certification
• Fire Guard certification, if applicable
• At least one year of relevant experience, military or law enforcement experience may substitute

Requirements of the position:

• Ensure the safety of personnel, assets, and property
• Verify identification of personnel entering buildings
• Screen visitors and ensure authorized entry
• Monitor and document equipment or packages leaving the premises
• Respond to emergencies and direct actions as instructed
• Enforce post orders and general guidelines
• Assist customers, employees, and emergency responders as needed
• Conduct regular patrols of the property
• Act as Fire Guard or Fire Safety Director, as required
• Prepare incident reports detailing actions taken during emergencies
