Patient Access Scheduler I

REMOTE - Central Time Zone Only

SCHEDULE: Must be available to work as early as 7AM and as late as 6PM Monday-Friday, and Saturday's as needed

PAY: $18.70/hour

Ability to advance to level II & III, with increased compensation!

We are seeking a Patient Access Scheduler I to join our team in Wausau, WI. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients-answering inbound calls, scheduling specialty or diagnostic appointments, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced contact center environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer 75-125 inbound calls daily to schedule or update appointments
• Place outbound calls for follow-ups, referrals, and reschedules
• Maintain a professional, friendly demeanor while assisting patients
• Collaborate with departments to ensure efficiency and patient satisfaction
• Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA

• High School diploma or GED required
• 2 years healthcare setting experience required
• 1+ years contact center experience required
• Scheduling Experience Required
• Experience working with EPIC software required
• Strong customer service skills; medical office experience preferred
• Proficiency with computers
