Description - Your Contributions
- Conduct both routine and specialized laboratory tests-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and other critical areas-following established protocols.
- Assess test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventive maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
- Support specimen collection efforts and properly prepare samples for testing as required.
- Thoroughly document all procedures, guide new staff or students, and work to uphold laboratory quality standards.
- Ensure the laboratory environment remains clean, safe, and compliant with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree, with preparations for ASCP/AMT certification.
- ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
- Maintain certification throughout your tenure with the organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for seamless collaboration within healthcare teams.
- Adept at using independent judgment and solving problems in fast-paced or high-pressure situations.
