Responds to non-emergency calls for service; takes information from the public regarding thefts, found property, and other incidents which do not require the presence of a law enforcement officer at the scene; completes standard police reports for review by supervisor. Performs required follow-up functions on crime reports, such as burglaries and thefts, including evidence work such as gathering fingerprints as needed.
