divh2Maintenance Technician I/h2pWinnCompanies is looking for a Maintenance Technician I to join our team and assist at Parkside Terrace, a 90-unit affordable housing community located in Chico, CA./ppIn this role, you will perform maintenance functions in the community, including rental units, residential common areas, office, grounds and parking lots./ppThe pay range for this position is $21 to $23 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, the regular work schedule is as follows: Monday through Friday, from 8:00AM to 5:00PM./ph3Responsibilities:/h3p Perform repairs in such areas as, but not limited to, appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting, basic electrical, basic plumbing, and basic HVAC./pp Complete assigned service requests and repairs consistent with company operating procedures./pp Assist in preparing vacant apartments for market ready status in accordance with company standards./pp Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping, and trash management activities./pp Be available for on-call activity during off-hours and emergencies based on a pre-determined schedule and need./ph3Requirements:/h3p Less than 1 year of relevant work experience./pp General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC./pp A current drivers license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy./pp Excellent customer service skills./pp Good communication and interpersonal skills./pp Basic familiarity with computers and tablets./pp Availability for on-call activity during off hours for urgent needs./pp Ability to speak and understand basic English./pp Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities./ph3Preferred Qualifications:/h3p Vocational or technical training./pp CAMT certification./p/div
