Role Summary:

As a Theatre Staff Member, you will create a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests. You will be quick, accurate, and knowledgeable about movies, special events, pricing, and promotions. Your role is pivotal in ensuring a memorable experience for our patrons by answering their inquiries and delivering exceptional service. You will also collaborate across various functions such as Usher, Box Office, and Concessionist based on operational requirements, fulfilling essential job duties across these positions.

Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet guests with a genuine smile and provide timely service.

• Efficiently operate the Cinemark POS system for transactions at your register.

• Verify tickets and guide guests to the appropriate auditorium.

• Sell tickets in accordance with MPAA regulations and company policies.

• Offer information about pricing, current movies, special events, and alternative film options.

• Respond to guest inquiries via phone and in person with professional customer service.

• Conduct regular inspections of the theatre to ensure superior movie presentation and sound quality, while maintaining a safe environment.

• Keep the theatre environment clean and free of debris including the lobby, aisles, restrooms, and auditoriums.

• Prepare food and manage the operation of cooking and warming equipment efficiently.

• Regularly sanitize high-contact areas for both employee and guest safety.

• Comply with all food safety regulations as mandated by local, state, and federal laws.

• Monitor safety and security, addressing potential hazards and reporting to management when necessary.

• Assist with all opening and closing duties as assigned.

• Carry out additional work-related tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years of age.

• Complete basic food handling training and obtain any required local or state certifications.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Consistent and regular attendance is required.

• Possess an energetic and friendly demeanor throughout each shift.

• Deliver exemplary guest service consistently.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills to engage effectively with guests of all ages and backgrounds, including proficiency in English.

• Able to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently.

• Demonstrated ability to follow directions promptly.

• Respond with urgency to meet guest needs.

• Accurate cash handling skills and basic mathematical aptitude.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

• Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Regularly standing, walking, and reaching throughout the theatre.

• Noise levels may vary, potentially increasing to moderate or high.

• Able to stand for extended periods.
