Here, theres no limit to what you can achieve./ppSCHEDULE: Sun/Mon/Tues/Wed/Fri 9:30am6:30pm EST/ppPRIMARY PURPOSE: To provide exceptional customer support on Sedgwicks primary temporary housing line by assisting policyholders, adjusters, and partners with housing-related inquiries. This role is responsible for handling inbound calls, processing hotel extensions, supporting billing-related questions, and performing administrative tasks to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality service across all housing operations./ppESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES/pulliAnswers inbound calls from insureds/policyholders, adjusters, hotels, and property managers in a professional, friendly, and compassionate manner./liliServes as the first point of contact for housing-related inquiries, demonstrating strong service and problem-solving skills./liliLearns the functions of each department in order to accurately resolve issues and answer questions./liliAccurately and efficiently enters new housing claims into the system./liliMonitors inbound email for claim questions, approvals, and new housing requests./liliContacts insureds via text and email to confirm hotel extension needs./liliUpdates and maintains the hotel database to ensure accuracy and uniformity./liliExtends hotel stays for clients currently in-house./liliRetrieves hotel folios (receipts) from properties for completed and partial stays./liliAudits hotel folios and related claims for billing accuracy, compliance, and documentation./liliVerifies and maintains accurate data across internal systems./li/ulpADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES/pulliPerforms other duties as assigned./liliSupports the organizations quality program(s)./li/ulpQUALIFICATIONS/ppEDUCATION LICENSING/ppBachelors degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university preferred./ppEXPERIENCE/ppFour (4) years of experience in claims processing or related business experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Insurance or finance industry experience preferred./ppSKILLS KNOWLEDGE/ppWorking knowledge of billing and reconciliation systems, claim systems, financial services, and insurance products/ppExcellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills/ppPC literate, including Microsoft Office products/ppExcellent analytical and interpretive skills, including efficient use of MS Excel/ppExcellent problem solving and resolution skills/ppStrong organizational skills/ppAbility to maintain confidentiality/ppAbility to work in a team environment/ppAbility to meet or exceed performance competencies/ppWORK ENVIRONMENT/ppWhen applicable and appropriate, consideration will be given to reasonable accommodations./ppMENTAL: Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines/ppPHYSICAL: Computer keyboarding, travel as required/ppAUDITORY/VISUAL: Hearing, vision and talking/ppNOTE: Credit security clearance, confirmed via a background credit check, is required for this position./ppThe statements contained in this document are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by a colleague assigned to this description.
