Job Summary: Provide patient-centered pharmacy support services with a focus on special populations. This role supports pharmacy operations through safe medication delivery, recordkeeping, customer service, and compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely collect, transport, and deliver prescriptions, medications, and pharmacy-related materials
Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, vehicle inspections, and pharmacy statistics
Support pharmacy audits and quality management processes
Ensure compliance with medication handling laws, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures
Maintain a clean, safe vehicle and practice responsible driving at all times
Identify patients with medication concerns and refer them to a pharmacist
Provide excellent customer service and represent the pharmacy professionally
Attend required meetings, trainings, and comply with attendance and timekeeping policies
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid California driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation
Strong time management and multitasking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Bilingual English/Spanish or Punjabi preferred (not required)
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Prolonged sitting and driving
Ability to read, hear, and communicate clearly
Ability to use basic office and computer equipment
