Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Utilizing advanced radiographic and CT techniques to generate diagnostic images for physician evaluation
- Collaborating with radiologists and a multi-disciplinary team to assure precision in diagnoses
- Correctly positioning patients and fine-tuning equipment for unparalleled imaging quality
- Strictly adhering to radiation safety protocols for both patients and staff members
- Keeping detailed records, including imaging logs and maintenance of equipment
- Providing empathetic patient care throughout the imaging procedure
- Helping maintain a safe, organized, and high-functioning imaging environment
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is essential; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
- Completion of an accredited radiology training program
- ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography)
- Valid BLS certification or the willingness to secure certification within 90 days of hire
- Strong aptitude in diagnostic imaging procedures and safety standards
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, promoting approachability with both patients and staff
- Capability to thrive in dynamic environments while adapting to changing needs
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
- Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging software
