A company is looking for a Physician Coder: Orthopedics.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and accurately code Orthopedic Surgery and E/M cases to maximize reimbursementWork independently to research coding scenarios and meet daily production and quality goalsStay current on coding guidelines andparticipate in department meetingsRequired Qualifications and EducationHigh School diploma required; Associates or BS degree preferredCompletion of an AHIMA or AAPC certified program with a valid professional credential (CCS, CPC, etc.)Minimum of 3 years of physician coding experience in OrthopedicsProficient knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, CPT, ICD-10 coding, and billing policiesExperience with Microsoft Office and electronic healthcare record systems; remote work experience preferred
