Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chico, CA, for a Design Engineer. The Design Engineer will conceptualize, develop, and enhance products using computer-aided design (CAD) tools for volume production. Daily responsibilities include designing mechanical and electrical components, collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing product designs for functionality and efficiency, and ensuring compliance with industry and safety standards. The candidate will also contribute to prototyping, testing, and continuous product improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Design Engineering and Product Design tasks
• Strong background in Mechanical Engineering and knowledge of Electrical Engineering
• Advanced skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, Solidworks
• Experience in product development for manufacturing, prototyping, and testing
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
