Why This Role Matters You will be the driving force behind districtwide efforts that ensure every student feels: safe, supported, and seen. From crisis response planning to wellness initiatives, you'll help shape the systems that protect, empower, and connect our entire school community.

What You'll Do (The Impact You'll Make)

  • Safety & Crisis Leadership Lead and strengthen district safety systems, emergency planning, and crisis response Partner with law enforcement, fire, and community agencies to ensure readiness Guide school sites in safety planning, drills, and threat assessment protocols
  • Wellness & Mental Health Systems - Oversee and elevate our Health & Wellness Resource Center - Support SEL systems like MTSS, PBIS, and trauma-informed practices - Help build environments where students thrive, not just survive
  • Student Engagement & Attendance - Potentially serve as SARB Chair, bringing families, schools, and agencies together - Drive solutions that improve attendance, engagement, and student success
  • Collaboration & Culture - Work across departments, schools, and community partners - Deliver trainings that build capacity in safety, wellness, and connection - Be a key voice in shaping a positive, inclusive district culture
  • Grants & Innovation - Secure and manage grants that fund impactful programs - Turn ideas into funded, sustainable initiatives

What You Bring - You're not just qualifiedyou're mission-driven

Required: Bachelor's degree in education, public health, social work, psychology, or related field Experience in student support, safety, mental health, or SEL systems Grant writing and program implementation experience Preferred: Master's degree in a related field Experience leading districtwide initiatives Background in crisis response or interagency collaboration
