The Opportunity

A growing, multi-location employer is looking for a Benefits & Retirement Supervisor to own and elevate its benefits and retirement infrastructure. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution — someone who can run a tight operation and still see the bigger picture.

You'll lead a small team and serve as the go-to expert for employees and managers across the organization.

What You'll Own

• Full lifecycle management of group benefits programs — medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, and 401(k)
• Leave of absence, workers' comp, and accommodation coordination across state and federal requirements
• 401(k) administration: enrollment, audits, true-up calculations, trustee coordination, and payroll funding
• Open enrollment planning and employee communications
• Benefits compliance: documentation, government filings, plan audits, and regulatory reporting
• Team leadership — coaching, performance management, and day-to-day supervision

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of progressive group benefits experience
• Strong working knowledge of FMLA, ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA
• Experience with self-funded welfare benefit plans (preferred)
• High Excel proficiency and comfort across HRIS/payroll systems
• CEBS, PHR, or equivalent certification (preferred)
• A leader who communicates clearly, protects confidentiality, and solves problems without being asked
