We are currently hiring seasonal Food & Beverage Service Leads to support our innovative outdoor food and beverage concept: Sur Stream. This vintage airstream-inspired outlet serves guests in an open-air setting and provides a dynamic and engaging hospitality experience. This is a seasonal position running from May through September, with the potential to transition into a regular full-time opportunity at the resort, depending on performance and business needs. The hourly pay range for this opportunity is $22.00 - $26.00 per hour + tips. This is the pay rate for this position at Ventana Big Sur, and Alila Resort reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors including experience and training levels. Key Responsibilities Guest Service & F&B Operations Serve food and beverages to guests from the Sur Stream outlet in a warm, timely, and professional manner. Maintain a deep knowledge of the seasonal menu offerings and communicate effectively with guests about specials and recommendations. Anticipate guest needs and personalize interactions to enhance the overall experience. Ensure cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of the Sur Stream outlet throughout service. Independent Operations & Oversight Operate independently and confidently with limited supervision. Follow all operational and service protocols with attention to detail. Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and initiative in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Compliance & Safety Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service policies. Ensure all practices comply with state and local health regulations. Maintain active certifications in both Food Handling and Responsible Beverage Service.
