The Cook I is an entry-level culinary position responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of food items in accordance withestablished recipes and guidelines. This role is crucial to maintaining food quality, safety, and sanitation standards within the kitchen.

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred. Culinary Arts Certificate or degree from two-year College or technical school preferred; and/or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with high volume cooking or fine dining preferred.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, menus, recipes, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Gaming license issued by the Paskenta Gaming Commission. Food handler's permit from a relevant government agency.
