Temporary Employment Opportunities

Temporary non-regular employment applications are accepted on a continuous basis. The intent of this applicant pool is to create a list of qualified applicants who are interested in temporary employment at Butte College. Submit an application if you think you might be interested, even if there is currently no vacancy for the position(s) you're interested in. Your application will be active for one (1) year from the application submission date. After that, you'll need to submit a new application to demonstrate continued interest in temporary employment.

Current Temporary Vacancies:

• Bus Operator - $23.50/hour (continuously seeking applicants)
• Accountant - $37.75/hour
• Account Clerk, Senior - $28.00/hour

Application Instructions: To be considered for a temporary non-regular position:

1. Identify the classification(s) for which you are submitting an application for: Classified Class Specifications OR Management, Supervisory, and Confidential Class Specifications.
2. Click the (apply) button above and submit a complete online application. Please fill out all the application fields thoroughly. Your application should contain the most up to date and accurate information regarding your work history.
3. A resume is the only required attachment.

What happens after I submit my application? Once you have completed and submitted an application for a temporary non-regular employment, Human Resources will review your application for minimum qualifications, if a vacancy exists.

• Only applicants who meet the minimum qualifications for an open temporary vacancy and are selected for an interview by the department will be contacted.
