Under the direction of the cook manager, performs a variety of food service duties in support of the District's Child Nutrition Program. Duties may include food preparation, serving meals, operating a point-of-sale system, maintaining sanitation and safety standards, cleaning kitchen and cafeteria areas, stocking supplies, and assisting with meal service operations. Substitute employees work on an as-needed basis at various school sites to ensure uninterrupted food service operations. Must maintain positive interactions with students, staff, and the public while following all applicable health, safety, and nutrition regulations.
