Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Shift: 8- hour, Day Shift, 0700 start time Work Experience: Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations by operating radiographic equipment to obtain high-quality images as ordered by physicians. Prepare and position patients by explaining procedures, reviewing patient history, and ensuring proper positioning for accurate imaging while maintaining patient comfort. Follow radiation safety protocols by using appropriate shielding, minimizing radiation exposure, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Evaluate image quality and maintain records License: -Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT) -Current CPR Certification & Fluoroscopy permit Certifications: BLS/CPR Certification.
