Job SummaryUnder the general supervision of the Farm Director, the incumbent will coordinate the daily operations of the Patton Family Sheep Unit at the University Farm, including oversight of all sheep, grazing/pasture coordination, basic record‑keeping, and coordination of student employees.Required Education and ExperienceFour years of experience providing instructional support services for a related unit or discipline, or in producing materials or supplies or repairing equipment in a discipline related to the specialty area to which assigned.Equivalent to two years of college with 16 semester units in courses involving extensive use of materials, supplies, or equipment and in a discipline related to the area to which assigned may be substituted for one year of the required experience.Equivalent to four years of college with 16 semester units in courses involving extensive use of materials, supplies, or equipment and in a discipline related to the specialty area to which assigned may be substituted for two years of the required experience.PreferencesBachelor of Science in Animal Science or related field.Proficient with the use of computers.Pay, Work Schedule, and BenefitsFull‑time. Pay Plan: 12/12. Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Salary Range: $60,528 – $88,176 per year (CSU Classification). Benefits include tuition fee waiver (if eligible) and standard CSU benefits such as sick leave, vacation, and health insurance.Additional InformationThis position is considered a sensitive position per CSU guidelines.
