ProKatchers is seeking a travel Radiology Technician for a travel job in Chico, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Shift: 8- hour, variable days off and Varied start times. 7am, 1500, 2300. Work Experience: Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations by positioning patients correctly and operating radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Prepare and educate patients about imaging procedures, verify patient information, and ensure comfort and safety throughout the examination. Follow radiation safety protocols (ALARA), use appropriate shielding, and maintain compliance with infection control and quality standards. Review image quality, maintain accurate patient records, and collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support timely diagnosis and patient care. License: Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT) -Current CPR Certification & Fluoroscopy permit Certifications: BLS/CPR Certification. .
