Position SummaryAn Inventory Clerk will assist in keeping an accurate inventory ensuring the system inventory in the WMS matches the physical inventory stored at the facility. This requires individuals to work in a warehouse and to utilize various inventory control systems.Additional BenefitsPaid Time OffMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife Insurance401KAssociate Referral ProgramScheduleMonday - Friday 6am-2:30pmPay$21.00 per hourDuties and ResponsibilitiesEnsuring system count matches physical inventoryResolve discrepancies at location and pallet levelLook for missing product in storage locationsAccurately receive inventoryWork with checkers to ensure accurate receipt of inventoryAudit inbound receipts, both physically and through receipt documentationEnsure appropriate signage accurately located in distribution centerAssist with daily and weekly reportsAssist in development and implementation of special projects and tasksAll other tasks as assignedQualifications6 months of inventory experienceAbility to follow work procedures and safety rulesRead, write, understand, and speak EnglishAbility to handle multiple tasks independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting.Must have knowledge of computers and ability to learn WMS and various internal applicationsMust use handheld computers / scannersOperate various material handling equipment; occasionally moving product in warehouseRegular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the jobWillingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.Physical RequirementsThe physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
