About the Role

myVA Rocks is looking for an experienced, proactive Project Manager who thrives on bringing structure to moving pieces, keeping people accountable, and driving projects from idea to completion.

This role is ideal for someone who can step into a client's business, quickly understand the bigger picture, and take ownership of keeping projects moving forward. We're looking for someone who can identify next steps, anticipate roadblocks, communicate proactively, and help clients and their teams stay focused on the outcomes they're working toward.

Contract: Up to 40 hours per week

Location: 100% remote

Schedule: Flexible, with consistent availability required during standard U.S. business hours

Rate: $20/hour

Our primary collaboration hours are:

• 8:00–11:00 AM PST
• 9:00 AM–12:00 PM MST
• 10:00 AM–1:00 PM CST
• 11:00 AM–2:00 PM EST

Additional client availability may be required depending on the needs of the executive you support.

• Manage projects from kickoff through completion, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and follow-up.
• Create and maintain project plans, trackers, workflows, and documentation.
• Coordinate across clients, internal team members, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate project meetings and ensure conversations turn into clear decisions, owners, and next steps.
• Proactively follow up on outstanding action items and hold stakeholders accountable to deadlines.
• Identify potential roadblocks, dependencies, or risks before they become larger issues.
• Keep clients informed through consistent, concise progress updates.
• Help prioritize competing projects and determine what needs attention first.
• Maintain organized documentation, SOPs, notes, and project resources.
• Recommend improvements when you notice a workflow, communication gap, or process that could work better.
• Learn each client's business, priorities, and working style so project decisions align with their larger goals.
• Use project management and collaboration tools to create visibility and accountability across the team.

• 2+ years of professional experience, with demonstrated Project Management experience.
• Experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Experience working directly with executives, business owners, or senior leadership.
• Strong experience with project management platforms
• Experience managing vendors or external partners.
• Experience creating workflows, SOPs, project documentation, and accountability systems.
• Confidence using Google Workspace and other common business technology.
• Experience working remotely and independently.
• Experience supporting small businesses, entrepreneurs, startups, or fast-moving teams is a plus.
