  • CSEA Range 25; Full-time/Non-Exempt 40 hours per week; 12 months per year
  • Anticipated Start Date: November 1, 2022
  • Tentative Interviews: September 21-23, 2022

LOCATION: This position is located at the Skyway Center in Chico, CA.

HOURS: The work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: The Administrative Secretary-Grants position is responsible for analytical, procedural, and clerical duties. The duties support the workforce training funding contracts and budgets for the Employment Training Panel and Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) programs. This position professionally communicates with business owners to process employer applications, employee registration, attendance tracking, and training activity reports. The candidate will work with financial database systems, state government systems, and advanced excel analytical functions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s Degree or the equivalent*; AND three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities of this class; AND Graduation from high school, G.E.D. or the equivalent**
